Department volunteers respond to a variety of structural fire, wildland fire, vehicle collisions, and EMS calls within fire district #12. Volunteers meet weekly on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 1600-1800 hrs. Come join us - no experience necessary! The fire department is located on north end of town, on the west side of Hwy 142, at 92 Durkee Road.

The town of Klickitat and surrounding areas along Highway 142 are located within Klickitat County Burn Ban Zone 2 (including Turkey Hole and Icehouse camping areas, which are owned by WDFW and may have additional fire restrictions).
