  • Kiddie Carnival - FREE!

    Friday 5-7pm
    Location: Klickitat Community Center

    Free carnival games with prizes and lots of fun for kids! Geared toward kids ages 2-10.

  • Outdoor Family Movie and Dinner - FREE!

    Friday, 7-10:30pm (movie begins at dusk, 9ish)
    Location: Klickitat Community Center field
    Movie to be shown: A surprise! PG-rating

    Come enjoy an outdoor, family-friendly movie and dinner! Bring a blanket or chairs and get comfy on the grass. Everyone gets a free hot dog, chips, drink, otter pop, and popcorn from 7-9pm (donated by Canyon Days and the Klickitat PTO). The movie DVD will be raffled off after the showing!

  • Firehall Breakfast

    Saturday, 7-10am
    Location: Klickitat Fire Hall
    Cost: seniors/kids = $6, adults $8

    Fuel up for a busy day with pancakes or biscuits and gravy, sausage, and hot beverages at the Klickitat Firehall.

  • 5K Walk/Run

    Saturday, 8am (registration at 7:30am)
    Start/End Location: In front of the Klickitat Post Office, Hwy 142

    Registration:

  • Saturday Market & Live Music

    Saturday, 9am-2pm (music from 10-2)
    Location: Klickitat Community Center field

    Vendors will be selling handmade gifts, jewelry, clothing, home decor items, food, drinks, and much more! The Welcome to Canyon Days booth will provide maps and information and sell Klickitat Canyon Life gear, and several community organizations will be there with information.

  • Main Street Parade

    Saturday, 11am (line up at 10am)
    Start Location: Hwy 142, Klickitat sign at south end of town
    End Location: Klickitat Community Center

    Cheer for our Grand Marshals (the Klickitat Ladies Auxiliary, represented by Donna Gilliam), the Klickitat Duck, various community, first responders, and car show participants. Watch from anywhere along Main Street (Hwy 142). The road will close from just before 11am until around 11:15.

    Free Otter Pops will be handed out prior to the parade by the Klickitat Valley Baptist Church (across from Depot Park) starting at 10:30am.

    Classic cars and motorcycles of all kinds line up following the community parade.

  • Outdoor Kids' Activities

    Saturday, 12-5pm
    Location: Klickitat Community Center field

    Kids of all ages, we’ve got you covered! Giant inflatables, carnival games, races, the Bookmobile, and a water game (sponsored by the Klickitat Fire Department). All free!

  • Live Music/Beer Garden

    Saturday, 7-11pm
    Location: Outside the Klickitat Community Center
    Band: Chris Carpenter and The Collective

    Come enjoy live music, dancing, and cold beer! Families are welcome to enjoy the music; beer garden will be next to Huntington’s Bar and Grill. There will be plenty of space to set up chairs, blankets, etc.

  • 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament (Youth and Adult)

    Sunday, July 30, 9am
    Location: Klickitat School Gym
    Cost: $15 per team (up to 4 members)
    Prize: The top team will take home half of the entry fees, which will depend on the number of teams.

  • Ducky Derby

    Sunday, 12pm
    Location: Klickitat town river access site (end of 1st street)

    The ducky derby raffle is a long-standing tradition of Canyon Days. 600 numbered ducks are dropped into the river just above Suburbia and float to town, where you can watch them being plucked from the river and winners called out! (Know your ducky numbers to hear if you win!)

    Ducks are available for purchase ($3 each) at the two stores in Klickitat in the weeks prior to Canyon Days, as well as various locations during Canyon Days weekend. Tons of fantastic prizes will be given out!

  • Klickitat Museum

    Saturday, 10am-4pm

    The locally-run museum highlights the history of the Klickitat area and community from pre-settler days until now. Native American artifacts, early photographs, mill history, and school memorabilia fill the space.
