Free carnival games with prizes and lots of fun for kids! Geared toward kids ages 2-10. High schoolers can volunteer by contacting Amy Wenz at (509) 767-7215.

Friday, 6:30-7:30pm
Outside the Klickitat Community Center

Bring the family down for a FREE dinner in the park! Everyone gets a hotdog, chips, and bottled water. Bring blankets/chairs and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Happening just after the Kiddie Carnival. Stick around to watch The Goonies!

Come enjoy a family-friendly movie out of the heat! Bring a blanket or sleeping bag and pillow and get comfy on the floor (lawn chairs are allowed at the back). Everyone gets a free bag of popcorn!

Note: Building is air-conditioned, so bring blankets or warm layers.

Cost: small = $10, large = $15

Fuel up for a busy day with pancakes or biscuits and gravy, sausage, and hot beverages. Proceeds benefit the Klickitat volunteer fire department.

Come find local art, woodwork, handmade gifts, jewelry, clothing, home decor, food, drinks, and much more! Several community organizations will be there with information, giveaways, and activities for kids. Interested in being a vendor? Find “Get Involved” under the Canyon Days tab on this website.

The Welcome to Canyon Days booth will provide information and have Canyon Days shirts and stickers for sale, as well as derby ducks.

This locally-run museum highlights the history of the Klickitat area and community from pre-settler days until now. Native American artifacts as well as photographs and memorabilia from the town’s history, including the mill, Canyon Days, the school, and more.

Saturday, 11am (line up at 10am in high school parking lot)
Start Location: Hwy 142, Klickitat sign at south end of town
End Location: Klickitat Community Center

Cheer for our 2026 Grand Marshals (the Kessinger family), the Klickitat Derby Duck, community organizations, first responders, and car show participants. Watch from Depot Park or anywhere along Main Street (Hwy 142). The road will close from just before 11am until around 11:30am.

This talented band is returning for the THIRD year in a row! They know how to jam and get your feet moving. Bring your own chair or blanket, but be prepared to dance too. Invite your friends to this fantastic free show!

Location: Klickitat town river access (end of 1st street)

The ducky derby raffle is a long-standing tradition of Canyon Days. 1000 numbered ducks are dropped into the river and float to town, where you can watch them being plucked from the river (or help!) and hear the winning numbers called out. (Know your ducky numbers to hear if you win!)

Ducks are $3 each, available at Klickitat stores in the weeks prior to Canyon Days and at the Welcome Booth on Saturday of Canyon Days. Dozens of fantastic prizes from our sponsors will be given out!
